Compatibility testing is used when organizations need to ensure Windows-based applications will work with changes to the Operating System as well as with changes to other applications. Testing can also be done for web application compatibility with Internet Explorer.

A variety of reports are available in AppRx Application Compatibility for issue identification, effort estimation and remediation guidance, including:

  • Platform report (List of applications by platform – Desktop OS, Server OS, 64-bit)
  • Action report (List of applications with before and after view and remediation activities required)
  • Application Detail report (List of applications with types of issues)
  • Interoperability report (List of interoperability issues with multiple applications on each platform)
  • Executive Summary report (List of applications by platform)

These reports can be output as PDF files. The data is also available for export via a CSV file.
